Our selection of teapots from China features a number of small-sized pots. These teapots are intentionally small in size to correspond with the Chinese gong-fu style of oolong and Pu-erh tea preparation and drinking: small teapots, small cups, and multiple steepings of the same leaf. This method of tea drinking allows the enthusiast to appreciate the taste of the tea as it responds to and changes with each additional re-steeping. Small portions of tea allow one to be able to drink heartily from multiple steepings over a period of time.
