General Shipping Information:
We make every effort to keep shipping charges as low as possible.
We sell our tea for fair prices - we do not overcharge for our tea sold online so that we can offer "free shipping" or reduced shipping rates to on-line customers.
Tea Trekker offers FREE SHIPPING via USPS Priority Mail on orders that have a value of $100.00 or more with a ship-to address
in the 50 U.S. states
Free shipping is not available for orders shipped to addresses outside the 50 U.S. states, or for International orders.
Please Note - customers with qualifying orders must manually select the free shipping option, your shopping cart will not automatically select this option for you
Please verify the address(es) that you give to us.
Your Shipping Address is the address to which you would like to have your package sent.
A package that is returned to us due to an insufficient or incorrect address will be re-shipped for an additional shipping charge once we are given a new address by the customer.
This shipping charge will apply to any re-shipped package including one that initially qualified for Free Shipping.
A second, additional re-shipping charge will apply if Tea Trekker is charged for the return of an undeliverable package.
A Note About Your Credit Card Billing Address:
Your Billing Name and Address must match the name and address to which your credit card statement is delivered.
An incorrect Billing Name or Address will cause your purchase to be denied by your credit card processor.
This name and address is often different than the address to which we will be sending your package.
We ship Monday through Saturday.
Customer orders are filled in the order that we receive them.
We fill orders Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
Depending on order volume, customer orders are typically shipped the next business day after we fill the order.
Orders received on Saturday, Sunday or Monday ship on Tuesday or Wednesday.
Please note that Monday holidays interfere with the transport of your packages - please plan your orders accordingly.
Shipping to Local Pioneer Valley Customers:
There is no option for local package pickup at this time.
Shipping via USPS Priority is the only option offered by the Post Office that provides insurance against lost packages and customer tracking on packages sent.
First Class mail has weight limitations and offers no insurance or tracking. Parcel Post also has no insurance or tracking.
Because the only package delivery system thru the Post Office that offers insurance and tracking is Priority Mail that is what we use so that neither we nor our customers have to absorb the cost of lost packages.
A. United States Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail :
USPS Priority Mail service is inexpensive and offers fast delivery.
Tea Trekker's shopping cart is linked to the USPS Priority shipping chart.
All packages ship from our store which is located in Massachusetts (zip code 01060).
The rates for USPS Priority Mail will show during the first stage of checkout after you enter your package's ship-to address and click on the
'Click to calculate shipping' button.
If you are ordering from a state or US-affiliated location on the following list, your package can only be shipped by USPS Priority Mail.
- Puerto Rico
- Other Off-Shore US Mailing Addresses and APO, etc
Packages shipped to Puerto Rico and other off-shore US mailing addresses will be charged at a higher rate than the rate for the 50 U.S. states and Free Shipping is not available.
B. USPS Priority Mail International:
All International orders ship USPS Priority International Mail only.
We ship to the following countries:
- New Zealand
- San Marino
- United Kingdom
Remember - the rate for USPS Priority International Mail will show during checkout only after you have entered your package's ship-to address.
There is no Free Shipping available for international packages.
C. UPS Ground Shipping
We have recently discontinued our UPS shipping service. It has become expensive due to multiple add-on-charges for many addresses
( usually 2+ the cost of USPS) and delivery time of packages in transit is too slow for our liking. Our tea is fresh and we want it to reach
customers faster than UPS can deliver it.
If you really need to have us ship via UPS, please contact us. We will work out these details with each customer on a one-to-one basis.
Ordering from our secure website is both safe and easy and can be accessed 24/7.
For US originated orders we accept these major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and also payment through PayPal.
For International orders we accept PAYPAL only.
Paypal is better able to handle international addresses and money transfer. Once you register with PayPal, you have options for shipping addresses that credit cards do not offer.
After placing your order you will receive several e-mail confirmations.
First, one from us (Tea Trekker) that confirms that we have received your order
Second, one from Authorize.net confirming that your credit card has been charged. (or PayPal if it is used)
Third, when your package is shipped, you will receive an e-mail from either USPS or UPS with the tracking information for your package.
These confirmations will all be sent to the email address that you have provided on your account and/or order.
If you do not receive these e-mails, then please confirm that the e-mail address on your account is correct
and check your spam inbox or your spam filter - perhaps your e-mail security settings are set very high - high enough to intercept these messages.
When your package has shipped, you can also find the tracking number for a package in the information regarding an individual shipment -
After loggin in to My Account, click on Order History and then the specific package that you want to track -
the tracking number will be towards the bottom of that form.
