and delicious teas, but there are always certain teas
that clearly rise above all others in flavor, rarity
and elegance of leaf style. These teas are made with
great care and pride, and usually in very small
batches.
In this section, Tea Trekker presents our list of rare
teas, each of which offers the tea enthusiast an
opportunity to experience some of the best that the
tea world has to offer.
Our advice is always this: if you are serious about
becoming a true tea aficionado, then you need to taste
as many great teas as you can when they present
themselves. Tea knowledge builds and grows when one
tastes a new tea and categorizes that tea’s elements
against other, more familiar components of teas tasted
in the past. The teas in this section tend to not
