This superb grade of Tai Ping Huo Kui is made from super-large, expertly-plucked and carefully manufactured fresh leaf. Just looking at this tea is a joy to behold: the leaves are the largest and most impressive of any of China’s leafy green tea. The local tea bush cultivars that produce Tai Ping are prized not only for their size but for their rich, buttery, almost chewy flavor. Tai Ping Huo Kui is not as well known in the USA as other Chinese green teas, but this tea will change that.
Steep 2-3 infusions at 2 minutes each. Water temperature should be 160° - 170° F |
