Shipping Rates & Info:

Continental 48 states:
In an effort to help reduce the cost of goods and the shipping charges to receive them, Tea Trekker underwrites a significant portion (or all) of the shipping charges for our customers who wish to have great tea delivered directly to them.

UPS ground service is our standard shipping.

For UPS we must use a street address, as UPS cannot deliver to a Post Office Box.

USPS Priority Mail
service can be selected by those who prefer to have packages delivered by USPS.

These two choices (with their fees) will be displayed in your cart when you are at checkout.

USPS Priority Mail will add at least one day and often two days to the shipping time.
It is not faster or an expedited service, but may be convenient for some Tea Trekker customers.

We ship by USPS Priority Mail only. This rate will show in the cart when you are ordering.
 
At this time we do not ship packages to locations other than the above.

NOTE: Please verify the address(es) that you give to us.

  1. If we are given an undeliverable address, both the original shipping charge and the fee UPS charges to return the package to us will be the responsibility of the customer.

  2. If we are given an incorrect address, the correction fee charged to us by UPS will be charged back to the customer.

Orders and Payment:

Ordering from our secure website is both safe and easy and can be accessed 24/7.
 
We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover cards.
We will charge your credit card when we are processing your order. 
 
After placing your order you will receive several e-mail conformations. First, one from us that confirms that we have received your order, then one from Authorize.net that confirms that your credit card has been charged.
 
When your package is ready to ship, you will receive an e-mail from either UPS or USPS with the tracking number of your package.

Gift Orders:

All individual gift orders must be placed as separate orders.
If you would like to have us include a gift card with a message other than just your name, please put that message in the 'Add Comments About Your Order' box during checkout.

Pricing:

The price of tea and tea wares changes occasionally and we do our best to keep our website prices updated and current.
However, prices are subject to change without notice. If the current price of an item is more than 10 % higher than what is stated on this website, we will contact you before shipping the product.

In Stock/ Out of Stock Items:

We make every attempt to have the items on this website in stock at all times.

Because we are a brick and mortar store, sometimes an item becomes unexpectedly popular and stock runs out.
 
If we are short a small portion of your order, we will ship what we can and re-calculate the freight. We do not back order.

If we are unable to fill your order at all (or if the majority of your items are out-of-stock) we will contact you for direction.

Gift Certificates:

TeaTrekker.com Gift Certificates are available for purchase on the Gift Certificates Page.
 
TeaTrekker.com Gift Certificates may be used for on-line purchases only.

If you would like to give a Gift Certificate for use in our brick and mortar store,
that should be purchased either in person at our store in Northampton or by telephone.

Sales Tax:

For taxable items shipped within Massachusetts, we must collect 6.25% state sales tax.
 
Taxable items in Massachusetts are non-food items such as pottery, teapots, tea containers, etc.
Food items are considered groceries and are not taxed.

Returns:

We want you to be happy with your order. If you have a question about something you received or if something is not right,
please let us know within 10 days of the receipt of your order so that we may correct the problem.

If a mistake was made when the order was placed, we will do our utmost to accommodate your requested correction,
but we cannot refund the costs of shipping your package to you.
 
If the mistake was ours, we will correct the problem and refund the shipping charges.
Please telephone us with any concerns or questions that you might have so that we may speak with you personally.

Directions:

Coming from the North
Take Exit 20 off Interstate 91 and proceed straight down King St. (Rt. 5) towards downtown. We are on the left (east) side 2 blocks before Main St., across from the Hotel Northampton, just before the A2Z Science and Nature Store.

Coming from the South
Take Exit 18 off Interstate 91, turn left onto Pleasant St. and proceed straight through the intersection at Pleasant and Main streets. Once you pass thru the intersection, you are on King St. We are on the right (east) side up 2 blocks, beyond the Calvin Theatre, just past the A2Z Science and Nature Store.
